We Have Now Dropped Credit Card Surcharges!

Most people are aware that paying for goods or services with a credit card is the best way to ensure the safety of their transaction.
Savvy holiday makers can take advantage of insurance policies (such as those offered by IPP London with whom we are an approved agent) at a small premium to cover every component of their trip, including the financial failure of an airline. Not a bad thing in light of recent events with Monarch...
However - up until now, the peace of mind that comes with paying with a credit card has come at a price as we have passed on some of the extra costs we incur in accepting these cards. A 1.15% surcharge on each payment made with a credit card to be exact. Many consider this to be a wholly acceptable hit to take, considering the financial protection that it brings - but for some, it is an unwelcome bite out of funds that would otherwise be reserved for holiday spending money.
We Have Now Scrapped Credit Card Fees
But we have wonderful news! An EU directive will come into effect from January 2018 to eliminate this pesky 1.15% surcharge and allow holiday makers to pay for their holiday with a credit card at no extra cost! What's more, at Crete Escapes - we are adhering to this policy even earlier and have already dropped credit card fees.
What this means for our customer, is the continued peace of mind that comes with booking with a credit card but without the bitter aftertaste of a transaction surcharge. A villa holiday to Crete will always come at exceptional value, but as of now - that value for money is even more palpable!
